What’s For Dinner

Rat Biscuits

2/3 cup Lab Block powder
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup Bisquick

Mix together above ingredients and add water to form biscuit-like dough. Spoon nickle-size helpings onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 450° until firm and crispy (about 20 minutes). Let cool and store in an airtight container.

Variations: add raw shelled sunflower seeds, wild bird seed, pumpkin seeds, wheat kernels, oatmeal, diced dried apple pieces, etc.

Corn Meal Treats

1 cup Lab Block powder
1½ cups corn meal
2 Tbls. honey
1 small egg
can add oil if desired

Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.

Oat Treats

1½ cups whole oats
1½ cups Lab Block powder
2 Tbls. honey
1 small egg
can add oil if desired

Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
