This fun class will test a rat’s curiosity by touching its nose to various items (that the exhibitor provides)
on the table during a 1 minute time limit. The rat gets 1 point for each item touched for a maximum
of 10 points.
For health reasons, the exhibitor will provide 10 items of various materials (clean/washed where necessary)
for this class:
1 toilet paper tube
1 key chain
1 small glass candle holder
1 small metal kitchen spoon
1 small plastic kitchen storage container
1 small ferret or cat ball
1 small rubber rat/mouse
1 Christmas ornament
1 small can of food
1 roll of masking or scotch tape
(variations allowed within reasonable limits)

KOOKY KONTAINER CLASS
Rats, Mice, Hamsters, Chinchillas, Cavies, Rabbits

This is a rat, mouse, hamster, chinchilla, cavy, and rabbit fun class where you dress up the
cage, carrier, or some other type of container. The animal must be incorporated into the
container design. Example: paint a container like a piece of cheese with the animal inside.
The theme should relate to rats, mice, hamsters, chinchillas, cavies, or rabbits. Please be
sure it is not harmful in any way to the animal. Youth entering this class must do their
own work. To enter, please check the space on the Entry Blank.
