AFRMA Rattery/Mousery Names Page
The Rattery/Mousery (Stud) Name of each breeder shall be used in connection with the names
of the animals bred by him/her. The breeder is the person owning the female at the time of
breeding and is recognized as the breeder of the babies produced by such breeding. The
breeder’s Stud Name and animal’s name or ID number must always stay with the animal. When
showing, this full ID must always be used (if the animal came with a name or number). If
the animal doesn’t have a name or number, then you may use your own name/number but must
use the breeder’s Stud Name as a prefix (if there is one). You may give the animal a second
name and call it what you like.
When animals are shown for the first time, the name entered at that
time must then be used on all successive entries so we can keep track of awards for each animal.
