A new booth underneath the huge oak tree at the Butterfly Day was for Roasted Pecans (needs to come back in November for the Pecan Festival) next to the Opossum Society of the U.S. http://opossumsocietyus.org/. OSUS had a new ambassador opossum and were taking names for him from the public.

Our booth was very busy pretty much all day with all the kids (and adults) wanting to pet and hold the rats. Hands were sprayed with disenfectant prior to handling. Rats owned and bred by Nicole Housel, Black Wolf Rattery.
