Nicole Housel giving the presentation of the Roan rats. They had been shown previously in 2003/2004 towards standardization but never completed the process. There has been renewed interest in this color recently, so if the Board accepts the past 11 shown, then there only needs to be 9 more shown to become a new standardized color/marking in AFRMA.

Rats picking their owners. This 9-week-old male rat found his new home. He instantly liked her and was calm with her where with other people that had looked at him, he was fidgety and didn’t want to be held by them. This line is naturally good tempered and not fidgety. It is important for the person looking for rats to pick out their own as rats DO pick their owners.
