Tidbit

Toothless Rat

A new rat without molars was discovered in Indonesia that eats earthworms. This new rat, Paucidentomys vermidax, has unusual incisors at the front of the mouth that are double-pointed bicuspids instead of the normal wedge-shape ones used for gnawing like other rodents. This is the only rodent known in the world without back teeth.
